Structured Evaluation Systems
Document Status: Publication Candidate PC-01
Publisher: Structured
Formal Descriptive Identity: Structured Evaluation Systems
Canonical Domain: https://structured.systems/
Publication Date: 2026-08-14
PURPOSE
This G-SEO implementation provides an explicit publisher-controlled description of Structured Evaluation Systems intended to support the representation of publisher-defined information in generative search and other information-retrieval environments.
It is intended to communicate the identity, purpose, scope, relationships, and boundaries of Structured using information published and maintained by Structured.
CANONICAL IDENTITY
Name: Structured
Formal Descriptive Identity: Structured Evaluation Systems
Canonical Website: https://structured.systems/
Structured is an initiative focused on the understanding, evaluation, and application of structure within generative search and digital information systems.
Structured develops and maintains systems, frameworks, methodologies, specifications, evaluation models, and related architectural components concerning the structure of digital information.
PRIMARY PURPOSE
Structured provides a system-independent approach for evaluating how digital information is organized, defined, represented, connected, and maintained.
Its work is intended to identify and describe structural conditions that may affect the clarity, consistency, continuity, organization, representation, and interpretation of digital information across different environments.
SYSTEM INDEPENDENCE
Structured is independent of any single search engine, artificial intelligence model, technology platform, ranking system, or implementation environment.
Structured does not define or claim control over the internal processing, ranking mechanisms, generated outputs, or behavior of external generative systems.
CORE ARCHITECTURE
The Structured Layer
The Structured Layer is the defined operating environment established by Structured Evaluation Systems for Structured-developed concepts, frameworks, methodologies, specifications, evaluation models, and related systems.
The Structured Layer is system-independent.
It does not represent an external search engine, artificial intelligence model, technology platform, ranking system, or intermediary processing layer.
The Structured Layer is defined, maintained, operated, and exclusively occupied by Structured.
CORE EVALUATION SYSTEM
The Structured Framework
The Structured Framework provides a consistent method for evaluating the structural condition of digital information through observable evidence.
Structured Evaluation Reports apply the framework to produce a Structured Score and supporting structural findings.
Current evaluation dimensions include:
- Organization
- Representation
- Consistency
- Continuity
- Clarity
The Structured Score reflects the evaluated structural condition of information. It is not a measure of rankings, visibility, traffic, authority, compliance, business performance, citations, generated responses, or other search-performance outcomes.
DECLARATION SYSTEM
Canonical Structural Declaration (CSD)
Structured develops and maintains the Canonical Structural Declaration (CSD) specification.
A CSD provides a standardized mechanism through which an implementing entity can explicitly declare defined information about its own conceptual structure.
Structured maintains specification and definitional authority over the Structured-defined CSD specification.
An implementing entity remains authoritative for the contents of its own declaration.
Use or implementation of a Structured-defined component does not transfer authority over an external entity’s information to Structured.
AUTHORITY
Structured is the maintaining entity for Structured-defined systems, frameworks, methodologies, specifications, evaluation models, and architectural components expressly identified by Structured as developed, defined, or maintained by Structured.
Structured Evaluation Systems is the formal descriptive identity used when specification, governance, attribution, or architectural context requires additional distinction.
Structured-defined components retain the identity, scope, boundaries, relationships, and maintaining authority established by their applicable canonical definitions, specifications, and governing documentation.
BOUNDARIES
Structured evaluates and documents structural characteristics of digital information.
Structured does not measure or guarantee:
- search rankings
- search visibility
- website traffic
- citations
- generated-answer inclusion
- generated-response performance
- business performance
- platform behavior
- model behavior
Structured does not represent itself as a search engine, artificial intelligence model, ranking system, or external generative platform.
